Rider Code
The motorcycle alone does not make somebody a Peace Rider. The designation is reserved for registered motorcycle riders who meet defined conduct, safety, training, service and accountability standards.
The five commitments
Cultivate discipline, self-awareness, humility and integrity.
Ride responsibly and never confuse recklessness with courage.
Turn visibility, ability and opportunity into practical benefit.
Seek understanding across cultures, beliefs and differences.
Leave every road, relationship and community better than you found it.
A Peace Rider must
A Peace Rider must not
The Peace Riders pledge
I pledge to carry peace within myself before calling others towards it. I will respect human dignity, protect the vulnerable and reject hatred, racism, violence and injustice. I will ride safely, serve sincerely and represent Peace Riders through my character. I will seek understanding before judgement, reconciliation before hostility and service before recognition. I will not use strength to intimidate, influence to exploit or membership for personal advantage. I will respect the law, protect the reputation of the movement and accept accountability for my conduct. I will strive to leave every road, family, community and country better than I found it. I ride with discipline. I ride with purpose. I ride for peace.
Ride with purpose
Submitting the launch form registers interest in the journey. It does not confer the formal Peace Rider designation.
