Safeguarding

Protection comes before reputation.

Peace Riders™ treats safeguarding as evidence of organisational seriousness. Children and vulnerable adults must be protected. Abuse must never be concealed. Internal loyalty never overrides safeguarding.

Immediate danger

If someone is in immediate danger, contact the relevant emergency service or statutory authority in your location. The website contact form is not an emergency reporting route.

Controlled reporting route

Public forms should not collect detailed safeguarding disclosures. The contact form allows someone to request the appropriate controlled route without asking them to enter sensitive case details into a general website form.

Service within competence

Peace Riders volunteers do not automatically provide medical treatment, diagnosis, counselling, legal advice, regulated financial advice, safeguarding investigations or emergency services. The operating model is recognise, respond and refer.

Practical standard

Recognise need. Respond with compassion. Refer to qualified support where professional intervention is required. Keep accurate records, protect confidentiality and separate safeguarding decisions from personal loyalty.
